伝統・食・アート・暮らしに触れながら、子どもたちは「やってみる」ことを通して世界を学び、考え、表現していきます。
Why Our Summer School
In a native English-speaking environment, children engage in project-based learning across a wide range of subjects—including sports, art, engineering, science, culture, cooking, and seasonal traditions from around the world.
Rather than focusing on knowledge alone, our goal is to help children develop the skills that matter most: thinking independently, taking on challenges, and finding ways to overcome obstacles. Through hands-on experiences and collaboration, students learn how to express their ideas with confidence—connecting with others beyond language.
Each day, children reflect on what they explored and achieved. These moments are recorded in a personal learning journal, allowing families to follow their child’s journey through a private online platform.
This Summer School is not just about learning new things.
It is about becoming curious, capable, and open to the world.
英語を使う環境の中で、子どもたちはスポーツ・アート・エンジニアリング・サイエンス・文化・クッキング・世界の季節行事など、分野を横断したプロジェクト型の学びに取り組みます。
私たちが大切にしているのは、知識を増やすことそのものではなく、自ら考え、挑戦し、困難を乗り越えようとする力を育てることです。
体験と協働を通して、子どもたちは言語を超えて「自分の思いを伝える力」を身につけていきます。
毎日の活動や気づきは、子ども自身のラーニングジャーナルに記録され、その成長のプロセスは、保護者の方も専用のオンラインプラットフォームでご覧いただけます。
私たちのサマースクールは、ただ新しいことを学ぶ場所ではありません。
世界と向き合い、自分らしく関わっていく力を育てる時間です。

This week, children explore Japan through culture, traditions, and seasonal experiences.
Rather than learning about Japan through facts alone, students engage in hands-on projects inspired by Japanese history and everyday life. From stories of samurai and ninjas to the customs and discipline of sumo, children experience how values, traditions, and seasons shape the way people live.
Through creative activities, cultural exploration, and shared experiences, children develop a deeper understanding of Japan while practicing collaboration, communication, and reflection.
Week 1 のSummer Schoolでは、日本をテーマに文化や伝統、季節の行事に触れていきます。
侍や忍者の物語、相撲に見られる礼儀や精神性など、日本の歴史や暮らしをヒントにした体験型のプロジェクトに取り組みます。
知識として学ぶのではなく、実際に体験し、つくり、感じることで、日本文化への理解を深めていきます。
文化体験や共同作業を通して、子どもたちは考える力、伝える力、そして他者と関わる力を育てていきます。

The After School Program in Week 1 introduces children to the cultures of the British Isles through creative and playful exploration.
In a relaxed afternoon setting, students discover traditions, symbols, and stories that represent the region—from traditional patterns and sports to art, architecture, and storytelling. Activities are designed to spark curiosity and imagination while encouraging teamwork and self-expression.
This program offers a different perspective on culture, allowing children to explore the world through creativity, movement, and shared play.
Week 1 のAfter School Programでは、ブリティッシュ・アイルズ（イギリス諸島）をテーマに、文化や象徴的な要素に触れていきます。
伝統的な模様やスポーツ、アートや物語などを切り口に、
午後ならではのリラックスした雰囲気の中で、創作活動やグループアクティビティを行います。
遊びや表現を通して文化に触れることで、
子どもたちは楽しみながら多様な価値観や世界の広がりを感じていきます。

This week, children explore culture through food in Okinawa’s tropical environment.
Cooking becomes more than following recipes. By experimenting with ingredients, flavors, and techniques, students discover how climate, culture, and daily life influence the way people eat around the world. Through hands-on cooking projects, children learn to work together, make choices, and express creativity in the kitchen.
Sharing meals and reflecting on the process helps children connect food with culture, communication, and community.
Week 2 のSummer Schoolでは、沖縄のトロピカルな環境を舞台に、食を通して文化を探究します。
レシピをなぞるだけでなく、食材の組み合わせや味の違いを試しながら、
気候や文化、暮らしが料理にどのようにつながっているのかを体験的に学びます。
クッキングは、考え、選び、協力しながら進めるプロジェクトとして行われます。
調理し、分かち合い、ふりかえることで、
食がコミュニケーションや文化理解につながることを実感していきます。

In the Week 2 After School Program, children explore Turkey as a meeting point of cultures.
Through art, crafts, food, and everyday traditions, students discover how Turkish culture blends influences from East and West. Activities introduce children to patterns, colors, and customs that reflect Turkey’s rich history and way of life.
In a relaxed afternoon setting, children are encouraged to create, play, and express themselves while gaining a new perspective on cultural diversity.
Week 2 のAfter School Programでは、東西の文化が交差する国・トルコをテーマに探究します。
アートやクラフト、食文化、日常の習慣を切り口に、
多様な文化的背景がどのように融合してきたのかに触れていきます。
午後のリラックスした時間の中で、
創作や遊びを通して文化を体感し、
多様性や世界のつながりへの理解を深めていきます。
